Perspective

An attempted coup is bad
only from the perspective of
the tyrant who is challenged
and the minions who benefit
from the tyrant’s control.

The tyrant denies the tyranny,
choosing to blame victims,
because the Truth means
the tyrant’s way is not best and
the tyrant might lose control.

The minions deny the tyranny,
choosing to blame victims,
because the Truth means
the oligarchy is an illusion and
minions could soon be victims.

To those who aren’t minions,
who want simply to live in peace
where despotism is unacceptable,
anyone who stands his ground
is a superhero, Mandela reborn.

But no true peace will exist
because the tyrant lives in fear.
Minions could become disloyal.
The next Mandela could rise.
Revelation of Truth is inevitable!

THIS is why we have Commandments!
Sharing creates a security net.
Honest dialogue creates trust.
When respect is reciprocal,
only then can we lie down in peace.

But if we fail to follow those laws
— insulting others to feign superiority,
arrogantly insisting we know best, and
turning friends into enemies with lies —
unholy behavior necessitates the coup…
